The Penn State Health St. Joseph’s drive-thru COVID-19 testing site will change its hours of operation beginning Wednesday, April 29.
It drive-thru testing site will now operate from 10am to 6pm, Monday through Friday, rather than 8am to 6pm.
Testing is free and available to patients who have been evaluated by a provider and given an order for the test. Patients must present their doctor’s order, photo identification and insurance card. More information on testing can be found here.
COVID-19 may cause cough, fever or shortness of breath. Most individuals will have mild illness. Some people, particularly individuals over 60, those with underlying health problems and pregnant women may have more serious illness requiring hospital care.
Penn State Health recommends that anyone with concerns that they may have COVID-19 call their provider, or the Pennsylvania Department of Health at 1-877-PA-HEALTH, before going to a clinic, urgent care center or emergency department.
