The Berks County Community Foundation will reopen its Community Conference Center beginning Monday, October 4, 2021.
The Community Conference Center offers several types of meeting space for organizations, including a full size board room which seats 26, a ‘fireside’ room for small 4 person meetings, and a multi-use conference room which can seat up to 50.
In addition, visitors to the Conference Center are encouraged to wear masks while Berks County is in the “high” or “substantial” transmission categories.
In taking steps to better ensure the safe reopening, all Community Foundation employees have been required to be vaccinated, and recommends visitors to be vaccinated too.
“The Community Foundation encourages all who are eligible for vaccines to be vaccinated. Contact your healthcare provider for information” reads a statement by the Foundation.
Berks County Community Foundation will review requests for use of our Community Conference Center individually.
Nonprofit organizations can request use of the meeting space at no charge. There is a small fee for for-profit organizations. To register as a user to book a room, call 610.685.2223. The building is closed on weekends.
Meeting representatives are responsible for setting up their space and cleaning it, including any dishes afte the meeting is finished. Partisan political events and activities are not permitted in the Community Conference Center.
The Berks County Community Foundation is a nonprofit corporation that serves as a civic leader for our region by developing, managing and distributing funds to meet existing and emerging community needs. More information is available at bccf.org.
