City of Reading Police Dispatch Moves Back to City Hall

In February, the Reading Police Department temporarily relocated to the Berks County Courthouse due to a renovation project at the Reading Police Communication Center.

After months of renovations, the project is complete, and Reading Police walk-in operations will return to 815 Washington St at City Hall.

Walk in for service or complaints will be handled in the vestibule on the 8th Street side of the building beginning at 3pm Friday, May 8th, 2020.

Reading PD says people will not be allowed into the building. All complaints will be handled in the vestibule by the Desk Sergeant or Officer.
