Commissioners to Hold Press Conference on Impact of COVID-19 on Minority Communities

The Berks County Commissioners and the Centro Hispano Daniel Torres will host a Press Conference at the Centro Hispano Daniel Torres, Wednesday April 22, to discuss the negative effects of COVID-19 and how they are affecting the Latino/Minority communities of Berks County and what can be done to help stop the spread.

The press conference will consist of several community leaders, such as Dr. Khalid N. Mumin, Reading School District Superintendent, Johanny Cepeda-Freytiz, Reading City Council Member, District 6, Michael Toledo, President & CEO of Centro Hispano Daniel Torres Inc, Michael Rivera, Berks County Commissioner, along with others to discuss the affects of COVID-19 and to share what their organizations are doing to help the residents, businesses and families being affected by the crisis.
