The Plum & Franklin Fire Station, which services South and Central Reading, was hit by gunfire late Sunday night, around 11:15pm, after a shooting that happened near the building.
Sources familiar with the incident say a member of the fire house was in the room at the time the bullet went through the window. No firefighters were injured in the incident.

Reading police are still investigating, and did not immediately release details.
