“Every year, thousands of people get injured and killed in alcohol-related crashes in the Commonwealth,” the Pennsylvania State Police said in a statement. “The Pennsylvania State Police remains committed to making the Commonwealth a safer place to travel.”
The enhanced enforcement is part of the department’s ongoing commitment to roadway safety. Drivers can expect to see a heightened police presence, particularly during times when impaired driving incidents are more likely.
