The 2024 ReadingFilmFEST is set to offer film enthusiasts an exclusive behind-the-scenes look into the world of filmmaking, with a special Industry Speaker Series featuring acclaimed writer John Hindman and actor Taylor Handley. The event will take place on Saturday, October 12, from 10:00 to 11:45 AM at the Boscov’s GoggleWorks Theatre.
John Hindman, the celebrated writer of the upcoming film Unstoppable, starring Jennifer Lopez and Don Cheadle, will provide insights into his writing process and experiences in the film industry. Hindman’s Unstoppable recently premiered to glowing reviews at the Toronto Film Festival, generating excitement among critics and audiences alike.
Joining Hindman is Taylor Handley, the star of Paramount+’s hit series Mayor of Kingstown. Handley, a versatile actor known for his dynamic performances, will share his experiences working in front of the camera and how he navigates the challenges of the entertainment industry.
In addition to the discussion, Hindman’s independent film 8 Confessions in LA will be screened immediately following the talk. Festivalgoers can also catch Handley’s short film Revv later in the evening as part of the festival’s Action Block.
