Berks Community Health Center has announced that James Toth has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer.
James A. Toth, MBA, BSN, RN, FACHE, is a seasoned healthcare executive with extensive experience leading clinical and operational excellence across various healthcare organizations. As Chief Operating Officer, he is responsible for advancing patient-centered care, strengthening operational performance, and supporting strategic growth.
Jim joined BCHC in 2024 as Director of Operations where he demonstrated his proven track record of improving access, safety, and efficiency through collaborative leadership and data-driven decision-making.
He began his career as a registered nurse before moving into administrative positions. As a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives he has experience overseeing cardiovascular, transplant, and multispecialty services in large health systems and community organizations. His work has included launching new clinical programs, leading major facility expansions, improving patient satisfaction, and achieving significant financial and operational outcomes.
