Stuff The Tiny House: Fee-Waived Adoption Weekend (Friday, September 23rd – Sunday, September 25th):

Humane Pennsylvania is seeking donations of dry dog and cat food to help stock Spike’s Pet Pantry shelves ahead of the winter months. This will help keep pets fed throughout the community. In exchange for a donation of pet food, community members will receive a coupon that waives an animal’s adoption fee!

The adoption coupon is valid through Friday, September 23rd – Sunday, September 25th. You may bring a pet food donation without adopting a pet. Bringing a pet food donation is highly encouraged, but not required to waive an animal’s adoption fee.

Adopters wishing to provide a loving home for shelter animals are encouraged to visit the shelter campuses or HumanePA.org. All potential adopters are required to go through Humane Pennsylvania’s diligent adoption screening process (approval is not guaranteed – regardless of pet food donations).

Adoptions include: Humane Pennsylvania’s 30-day Adoption Health Supplement, Spaying or neutering (prior to adoption), Vaccinations (including current rabies vaccination) and de-worming medication, Flea treatment, Microchipping and chip registration, and Free 1 lb. bag of Science Diet pet food.

Fall Flea Market:

Humane Pennsylvania’s Fall Flea Market is Sunday, September 25th, a day filled with local vendors and delicious food. It’s the perfect opportunity to shop from local crafters, check out vintage items, and even get holiday shopping started early.

The flea market is meant to bring out community members and support local vendors, with an opportunity to stop by the Freedom Center for Animal Life-Saving and meet adoptable animals.
