Kutztown Police partner with borough for “Kutztown Rocks” event

The Kutztown Borough Police Department and the Borough of Kutztown invite the community to join them for “Kutztown Rocks – Paint a Rock with a Cop!” on Saturday, November 1st, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kutztown Train Station.

The event is part of the Kutztown Rocks project, created by Jill Remick, the Borough’s Field Operations Coordinator. The goal is to bring residents together to paint colorful rocks with positive messages that will be displayed in a new community rock garden near Borough Hall. The project encourages creativity, connection, and community pride.

“This event is a great way for families to meet their local officers in a relaxed setting while helping spread some joy around town,” said Cpl. Charles Lawson. “We’re excited to see what the community creates.”

All supplies will be provided free of charge. Participants may choose to take their painted rocks home or leave them to be part of the public display. The event is open to all ages, and no registration is required.

For more information about the Kutztown Rocks project, contact Jill Remick at jremick@kutztownboro.org or call (610) 683-6131.
