Land O’Lakes, Inc. donated nearly 40,000 pounds of LAND O LAKES Macaroni & Cheese to Helping Harvest food bank in partnership with The GIANT Company, which made a $35,000 donation to fight hunger in Berks and Schuylkill counties. This collaboration comes during Hunger Action Month, bringing together The GIANT Company’s Eliminating Hunger initiative and Land O’Lakes’ First Run program, designed to donate truckloads of fresh product made specifically for Feeding America food banks.
Both Land O’Lakes and The GIANT Company are committed to fighting food insecurity through programs that engage employees, customers, and cooperative member-owners. With an overlapping footprint across Pennsylvania, the two companies have teamed up to raise awareness of the increasing need for emergency food services.
