Lyons Fiddle Fest Canceled over COVID-19 Safety Concerns

“We waited as long as we could to make a Go/No Go call on the Fiddle Fest.” says a statement from the organization.

“After lengthy discussions with the Governing Body of Lyons on 7/6/2020 it was decided that we have to cancel the Fiddle Fest due to the COVID-19 risks and concerns. It simply does appear that things will ‘clear up’ enough that we feel comfortable having the event.”

Organizers say they have already reached out to the scheduled stage artists and most or all of them will be available for the 2021 Lyons Fiddle Fest, which is scheduled for Sunday September 19, 2021.
