Adalyn Rose Foundation reaches milestone of 50 hospital partnerships, expanding compassionate bereavement care across the country

The Adalyn Rose Foundation is proud to announce a significant milestone in its mission to improve bereavement care for families experiencing the loss of a baby or toddler. The Foundation now partners with 50 hospitals across the United States, providing a total of 58 Remembrance Carts that offer immediate comfort, resources, and guidance to families during one of the most difficult moments of their lives.

The milestone was reached with the installation of the Foundation’s newest Remembrance Cart, donated by Justin and Emily Newsome, in honor of their son, Brett, at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional Hospital in Salisbury, MD.

Founded in 2019 by Adam and Chloe Ciferri following the stillbirth of their daughter, Adalyn, the Adalyn Rose Foundation was created with one simple belief: no family should have to navigate the loss of their baby alone.

What began with a deeply personal experience has grown into a nationally recognized bereavement care program serving thousands of families and healthcare professionals each year.

The Foundation’s Remembrance Cart Program was developed after Adam and Chloe, along with many other bereaved parents, recognized a common regret. Families often leave the hospital wishing they had known how to make the most of the precious, limited time they had with their baby. The carts ensure that memory-making supplies, keepsakes, educational resources, and compassionate guidance are immediately available to families during the most difficult moments.

Today, the Remembrance Cart Program has become one of the Foundation’s signature initiatives, helping hospitals provide consistent, compassionate care while ensuring families have the opportunity to create meaningful memories with their baby.

“This milestone represents so much more than a number,” said Chloe Ciferri, Executive Director and Founder of the Adalyn Rose Foundation. “Fifty hospital partnerships represent thousands of families who have had access to compassionate resources, meaningful support, and opportunities to honor and create lasting memories with their babies. Every hospital partnership means another community of families will never have to face this journey alone.”

Adam Ciferri, Co-Founder and Board President of the Adalyn Rose Foundation, reflected on the organization’s beginnings. “When we placed our very first Remembrance Cart, we had no idea how far this vision would reach. We simply knew families deserved better. We wanted every parent to have the time, resources, and support to love and honor their baby without regret. Seeing hospitals across the country embrace compassionate bereavement care is incredibly humbling. This milestone belongs to every baby whose legacy lives on through these carts and every family who has trusted us with their story.”

Each Remembrance Cart is made possible through the generosity of donors, community fundraisers, businesses, and families who choose to honor their own babies by sponsoring a cart in their memory. Every cart carries a unique story and serves as a lasting tribute while helping countless other families.

The Foundation also credits the success of the program to the dedication of hospital staff and healthcare professionals who continue to champion compassionate bereavement care within their organizations. Beyond the Remembrance Cart Program, the Adalyn Rose Foundation provides ongoing support through therapy assistance, peer support, memorial cost assistance, remembrance programs, education for healthcare professionals, and resources that continue long after families leave the hospital.

As the Foundation celebrates 50 hospital partnerships, its vision continues to grow. The organization remains committed to expanding access to compassionate bereavement care, strengthening healthcare partnerships nationwide, and ensuring every family experiencing the loss of a baby receives the support they deserve.
