The Reading Science Center has announced the appointment of four new members to its Board of Directors, each bringing valuable expertise and community-focused leadership. These appointments support the Center’s mission to inspire and educate future generations through STEM initiatives.
Nathan Peiffer, a Senior Manager in RKL’s Tax Services Group, joins the Board as Treasurer. With a decade of experience in tax planning, compliance, and business advising across various industries, Peiffer brings technical expertise and a passion for local community impact. A Certified Public Accountant and active member of professional organizations such as the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Peiffer expressed his commitment to the Center’s mission, emphasizing its importance for youth and future leaders. He resides in Denver, PA, with his wife, Addy, and their dog, Ollie.
Timothy Romig, Executive Vice President at Customers Bank and Director of Commercial and Community Banking, joins the Board with over 40 years of experience in commercial banking within the Greater Reading and Berks County community. Romig’s extensive local connections and dedication to community partnerships reflect his commitment to positive local impact. He and his wife, Tara, are parents of three children and grandparents to four, reinforcing his belief in the importance of investing in educational opportunities for future generations.
Stephanie Williams, Head of Operations and Site Lead at Labcorp Inc., brings over 20 years of experience in operations management, preclinical development, and immunology to the Board. Williams joined the Reading Science Center Board driven by her passion for science and her belief in the Center’s role in engaging children in STEM education through interactive learning experiences. Her dual expertise in science and business promises valuable insights for the Center’s growth and success.
Corinne Wilson, Field Service Operations Manager at EnerSys, assumes the role of Vice President of the Board. Wilson is known for her innovative program development, community engagement, and sustainable initiatives. As an active leader in EnerSys’ Women in Leadership committee and a mentor for professional growth, Wilson is dedicated to fostering meaningful connections and driving positive change. Her involvement with the Reading Science Center reflects her commitment to empowering future generations with knowledge and opportunities.
