Three Berks County students awarded Dorothy Klausing Bentley Scholarship

Breast Cancer Support Services of Berks County has announced the recipients of the 2025 Dorothy Klausing Bentley Scholarship, an annual award presented to local students who are direct relatives of breast cancer survivors.

This year’s recipients are Tyler Ferenz of Douglassville, Giselle Feliciano of Womelsdorf, and Luke Levan of Wernersville. Each will receive a $500 scholarship to support their continued education.

Ferenz, a graduate of Daniel Boone Area High School, will attend Dickinson College. Feliciano, who graduated from Conrad Weiser High School, plans to attend Penn State University. Levan, a Wilson High School graduate, is set to attend Case Western Reserve University.

The scholarship honors the memory of Dorothy Klausing Bentley, a Berks County resident and active supporter of Breast Cancer Support Services. The award is given annually to three Berks County residents pursuing two-year, four-year, or graduate degrees.

“We congratulate Tyler, Giselle, and Luke and wish them success in their future endeavors,” the organization said in its announcement.
