Pendora Park cleanup scheduled for MLK Day of Service

The Widoktadwen Center for Native Knowledge, City of Reading Public Works, Keep Reading Beautiful, and Alvernia University are teaming up for a cleanup effort in honor of the MLK Day of Service on Monday, January 15th from 10 a.m.-12 p.m.

Volunteers will be working to clean up Pendora Park and the surrounding area. Those interested in joining should meet at Pendora Park at 1805 Forrest St, Reading, PA 19606 for tools and location assignments. Dress for the weather and bring a reusable water bottle. Tools, snacks, water, and hot chocolate will be provided to all volunteers. This event is rain/snow or shine.
