Emergency Closure of Perkiomen Ave Due to Gas Line Repair

UPDATE: Besides the usual construction lane restrictions, Perkiomen Ave is open.

PennDOT has temporarily closed Business Route 422/Perkiomen Avenue East between Oley Turnpike Road and 36th Street for emergency gas line repairs.

A contractor performing road work for PennDOT damaged a gas line and the gas company is making emergency repairs. Traffic is being detoured on Old Perkiomen Avenue. Expect delays and please use caution driving through the area.

Closure will begin 4/11/19 and will estimated to be completed within 24 hours.
