A vehicle drove through the vestibule of a restaurant in Spring Township Tuesday morning while it was open for business.
The crash took place around 10:34am at the IHOP located at 2701 North Meridian Blvd in the Broadcasting Square shopping plaza.

According to initial reports, two people were struck by the vehicle inside the building, one being trapped between the door and the vehicle. Additional Information on injuries was not immediately available.
First responders worked quickly to extract the victims and the driver of the vehicle from the building.

The crash caused damage to the entry way of the restaurant and the vehicle was removed by a tow truck within the hour.
The restaurant remains closed awaiting repairs.
