Firefighters in Muhlenberg Township responded to a structure fire Saturday at 11pm in the 5000 block of Kutztown Road.
A second alarm was called soon after the initial dispatch as heavy fire could be seen engulfing two houses.

After the bulk of the fire was knocked down, fire crews remained on scene for several hours working to extinguish potential hot spots.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation. There were no reports of injuries.
