Winter Storm Warning Extended to 4pm Tuesday

The National Weather Service has extended the Winter Storm Warning until 4pm Tuesday. Heavy snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches possible with winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.

The heaviest snow will end by late Monday evening. Periods of light snow accumulating snow will linger through Tuesday.

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
