Winter Weather Advisory issued ahead of expected snow

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Berks County from 7pm Friday to 3pm Saturday afternoon.

Snow and wind is expected, with total accumulations between 1 to 4 inches and winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

Snow will become heavy at times Friday night through Saturday morning. Snow will diminish west to east early Saturday afternoon. Some blowing and drifting of snow is possible.

Plan on slippery road conditions. Slow down and use caution while traveling.
