Lancaster Man Fatally Shot during fight at Hookah Lounge, Police Say

On Friday February 5th at 3:31am, officers from the Cumru Township Police Department were dispatched to the Diamonds Hookah Lounge for shots fired call, resulting in multiple gunshot victims.

Upon Arrival at the scene, Police officers located 4 victims and a large crowd of approximately 75 people on location, attempting to leave the parking lot.

Police say the incident began as an altercation inside the Hookah Lounge. The altercation was then taken into the parking lot where a physical fight broke out. Shortly after, the fight escalated and a gunfight ensued, with four patrons shot, resulting in one victims death.

Police received assistance from multiple surrounding departments who stabilized and secured the scene.

Police have identified the deceased victim as Albert Duran of Ephrata. The surviving victims have been identified as Michael Rodriguez of Lancaster, Rahaim Rashid of Reading, and Luis Lopez of Reading. All three victims are being treated at Reading hospital and are expected to make a full recovery.
