Police in Puerto Rico have arrested 20 year-old Luis Cepeda-Morales in connection with a July shooting in Reading that resulted in the death of Edwin Rivera-Valentín.
District Attorney John Adams has approved his extradition to Berks County relative to the first-degree murder and related charges filed by Reading Police Department Criminal Investigator Trevor Atkins.

The shooting occurred in the 400 block of Spring Garden Street on July 31, 2022 at approximately 3:00am.
