Reading Public Library will be offering the “Great Decisions” Discussion Group Series once again in 2023, presenting conversations on some of the most critical global issues facing America today.
The 2023 topics are: Energy Geopolitics, War Crimes, China and the U.S., Economic Warfare, Politics in Latin America, Global Famine, Iran at a Crossroads and Climate Migration.
The discussion group will meet from 10:30am to 12:00pm every second Tuesday beginning on February 28 at the Reading Public Library Foundation building, 113 S. 4th St., Reading. A virtual via Zoom option is also available.
Topics are presented through a briefing book, video presentation and facilitated discussion.
The $35 registration fee includes a briefing book with expert papers on all eight topics. The fee for two people sharing a briefing book is $40. Scholarships are available through Reading Public Library.
