The Berks County Conservation District is holding the Berks County Cover Crop Workshop on Friday, April 14th from 8am-3pm at 91 Frystown Rd, Myerstown, PA. This is a free event, rain or shine.
The event will provide Berks County farmers with resources to improve soil health and save on fertilizer.
Attendees can observe an aerial-seeded cover crop field and experience a live manure injection demonstration. Manure Hauler/Broker and Pesticide Applicator CEC’s will be offered.
Notable presenters in the field of agriculture will provide an overview of funding sources available in Berks County including REAP, ACAP, and much more.
