Former FBI Special Agent Rodney Loose will present a program on Domestic Terrorism on Wednesday, April 12th at 6pm at the Wyomissing Public Library.
The FBI defines domestic terrorism as “Violent, criminal acts committed by individuals and/or groups to further ideological goals stemming from domestic influences, such as those of a political, religious, social, racial, or environmental nature.”
Mr. Loose retired as a Supervisory Special Agent with the FBI after 22 years of service. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Millersville University and a MS in Criminal Justice from West Chester University.
He also served in the US Marine Corps and Marine Corps Reserve, retiring after 21 years as a Major. He is currently an adjunct faculty member at Alvernia University, where he teaches a course on Terrorism in the Criminal Justice department.
Mr. Loose will talk about how domestic terrorism affects all of us and what we can do about it. There will be a Q & A period after his presentation.
