The Reading Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place late Thursday night, August 3rd, at 11:17pm, in the 000 block of South 10th Street.
According to police, officers arrived on the scene to find a 58-year-old female shot after a bullet went through the front door of her home.

The victim is in stable condition and being treated at the hospital.
