The Reading Police Department is investigating after a shooting injured two people Tuesday afternoon in the 200 block of Pear Street.
Police and EMS received the call around 3:17 PM for the report of a male in his 30’s who sustained a gun shot wound to the leg. The victim was transported by ambulance to the hospital. Authorities say a second victim arrived at the hospital later. Both suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Several evidence markers could be seen laying on the ground and a car appeared to have been struck by gunfire.
Police have not released any other information, citing the on-going investigation.
