Reading Police investigate shooting on Locust Street

The Reading Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred late Monday night in the city’s northeast section.

According to a press release issued by the department, officers responded to reports of shots fired in the 600 block of Locust Street around 10:13 p.m. on March 31. Upon arrival, police located an adult victim with a gunshot wound.

Authorities stated the victim’s injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.
