Original post: Reading residents will soon have a chance to learn more about plans for the city’s new public ice-skating rink. Mayor Eddie Morán and city officials will host a public meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 20, at 5 p.m. in City Park, on the Walnut Street side near Locust Street.
The meeting will provide an opportunity for community members to hear details about the project, ask questions, and share feedback. For those unable to attend in person, the discussion will be streamed live on the City of Reading, PA – Government Facebook page and on BCTV.org.
A rain date is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 26.
Mayor Morán, other city leaders, and members of the public are expected to participate.
