There will be no street sweeping on Friday, July 3. However, the city said there are no changes to its regular trash and recycling collection schedule.

As part of the Independence Day celebration and America’s 250th anniversary, Mayor Eddie Morán has directed that both City Hall and the Pagoda be illuminated in red, white, and blue on the evenings of Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4.

“As City Hall and the Pagoda shine in red, white, and blue, they serve as a reminder of the values that unite us all. This Independence Day, and as we celebrate America’s 250th anniversary, let’s take time to honor our nation’s history, celebrate our community, and enjoy the holiday safely with family and friends,” Morán said.
