Corrected. Raw shell eggs stored above RTE foods in refrigerator. Corrected. Observed single use grocery bags being used to store food. Material is not an approved food contact material.
On 7/9/2026, Bella’s 2.0, located at 2342 Lancaster Pike, Reading, PA 19607, was inspected and found with the following violation: Refrigerated ready to eat, time/temperature control for safety food prepared in the food facility and held for more than 24 hours, located in the front display case, is not being date marked. Corrected. Floor in the kitchen area is made of tiles and is cracked / roughened / and is not a smooth, easily cleanable surface. Time in lieu of temperature being used in the food facility to control ready to eat potentially hazardous foods without written procedures or documentation to verify disposition of food. Corrected. Observed the large chest freezer in the downstairs storage area to have a bent door that does not allow for a proper seal. Interior has a buildup of ice.

On 7/13/2026, Subway/Auntie Anne’s, located at 1800 Tilden Ridge Dr, Hamburg, PA 19526, was inspected and found with the following violation: Food employees observed in food area, not wearing proper hair restraints, such as nets, hats, or beard covers. Corrected on site.
On 7/13/2026, Pagoda Motorcycle Club Concession Stand, located at 1945 Pagoda Ln, Birdsboro, PA 19508, was inspected and found with the following violation: Some condiments and drinks were held at 63 °F, in two of the refrigeration units, rather than 41°F or below as required. Electric breaker was reset and refrigerators came back on. Open condiments were thrown away.
On 7/13/2026, Midway Truck Wash & Fuel Stop, located at 351 Midway Rd, Bethel, PA 19507, was inspected and found with the following violations: The Person in Charge did not demonstrate adequate knowledge of food safety in this food facility as evidenced by this non-compliant inspection. Hot dog roller on the counter area is stored open with no covering. Food facility is using an approved non-public water system, but does not have current laboratory testing results for water potability. Frozen coffee machine nozzles (2), a food contact surface, were observed to have food residue and pink mold and were not clean to sight and touch. On 7/14/2026, Doc & Bubba’s, located at 4312 New Holland Rd, Mohnton, PA 19540, was inspected and found with the following violation: Non-food contact surfaces not cleaned at a frequency to preclude accumulation of dirt and soil. Observed the dry dish rack to have a buildup of dust. Multiple foods were held at 49°F, in the flattop area, rather than 41°F or below as required. Corrected. Observed deeply scored cutting boards not resurfaced or discarded as required. Loose rubber door gaskets observed on the flattop refrigerator cooling unit.
On 7/14/2026, Cristina’s Family Restaurant, located at 500 Hoch Rd, Blandon, PA 19510, was inspected and found with the following violation: Cookline floor area of the food facility was observed with excessive grease and debris, and in need of cleaning. Chlorine chemical sanitizer residual detected in the final sanitizer rinse cycle of the low temperature sanitizing dishwasher was 0 ppm, and not 50-100 ppm as required. Please call for service and hand sanitize dishes until repairs are made. On 7/14/2026, Country Roads Cafe @ The Produce Auction, located at 209 Oak Haven Rd, Fleetwood, PA 19522, was inspected and found with the following violation: Milk and eggs were held at 55 °F, in the self-service refrigerator area, rather than 41°F or below as required. Owner said that cooler was just filled. Owner will watch temperature and if it does not lower, she will move the milk and eggs to another refrigerator.
On 7/15/2026, New York Bagelry, located at 150 Kenhorst Plaza, Shillington, PA 19607, was inspected and found with the following violation: Multiple foods were held at 47°F, in the cold hold display case, rather than 41°F or below as required.
On 7/15/2026, Lancaster Twist, located at 10 S Summit Ave, Reading, PA 19607, was inspected and found with the following violation: Soap was not available at the handwash sink. Food facility does not have available sanitizer test strips or test kit to determine appropriate sanitizer concentration. Sanitizers used to sanitize equipment and utensils are not available for use during all hours of operation.
On 7/15/2026, Dollar Tree #11509, located at 4630 Perkiomen Ave, Reading, PA 19606, was inspected and found with the following violation: There is an excessive amount of ice build-up around the door of the walk-in freezer in the back room. The unit does not appear to be controlling ice formation properly.
On 7/15/2026, Alebrije Mexican Restaurant, located at 3805 Perkiomen Ave, Reading, PA 19606, was inspected and found with the following violations: Thermometer for ensuring proper temperature of equipment is not available or readily accessible in the refrigeration unit next to the drink station in the kitchen. Food facility does not have available sanitizer test strips to determine appropriate sanitizer concentration at the dishwasher. The handwash sink in the bar area does not have single use towels. Corrected. Working containers (spray bottles) in the dining room and kitchen areas, used for storing chemicals, cleaners taken from bulk supplies, were not marked with the common name of the chemical. Corrected.
