Reading and Cumru Township — US 422 PennDOT maintenance crews will conduct brush cutting along US 422 between the Mount Penn Exit and North Wyomissing Boulevard from Sunday, Sept. 21, through Thursday, Sept. 25. The work will take place from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m., with a lane closure in effect. Drivers should expect delays and use caution through the work zone. Rain could delay the work.
Bethel Township — Route 501 PennDOT maintenance crews will perform shoulder work and widening along Route 501 between Airport Road and the Schuylkill County line from Sunday, Sept. 21, through Thursday, Sept. 25. Work is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., with lane restrictions and flagging. Drivers should expect delays and use caution through the work zone. Rain could delay the work.
Wyomissing — US 222/US 422 A PennDOT contractor will conduct surveying work along US 222/US 422 between Broadcasting Road and Paper Mill Road from Sunday, Sept. 21, through Monday, Sept. 22. Shoulder restrictions will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Rain is not expected to delay the work.
