Police in West Reading are investigating a hit and run accident that occurred Tuesday around noon on Penn Ave.
According to Police, around 12:15pm, a vehicle traveling East on Penn Ave was struck on the 700 block of Penn Avenue by another vehicle exiting the Wendy’s parking lot. After the crash, the striking vehicle took off from the scene.

The striking vehicle is reported to be a red Ford Taurus with a male driver.
Investigators say the Ford’s front end most likely has moderate damage.
