Berks County offers several ways for families to enjoy the holiday season. Here are a few local events to enjoy:
Holiday Lights at Gring’s Mill The annual holiday lights at Gring’s Mill will still take place this year, but as a walk-through event due to the pandemic. The lights will be on display from 6-9 PM on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from December 4-20.
There will also be additional Christmas week viewing from December 21-23. Light refreshments from Beansie’s Mobile Espresso Cafe food truck will be available, and visitors are asked to wear masks and practice social distancing at all times. Gring’s Mill is located at 2083 Tulpehocken Rd., Wyomissing PA 19610.
Holiday Glow on the Avenue Penn Avenue in West Reading is all decked out for the holidays, and special events will be taking place the first three weekends in December (Fridays and Saturdays)! Fecho Productions’ brass ensemble (Fridays), and the Cooper Family Victorian Carolers (Saturdays), all while supporting local small businesses on the Avenue.
Santa’s Wonderland of Lights & Pictures The magic of Santa’s Wonderland of Lights will amaze your family while they enjoy the tradition of a safe photo session with the big man. Pets are also welcome.
