The Boscov’s catering division is joining forces with the DoubleTree Hotel beginning March 1, making it the largest food service operation in Berks County and adding strength and capability to both organizations.
Steve Bonner, who currently heads Boscov’s Ala Carte Catering, brings his staff to the hotel where he will serve as Food and Beverage Director. Bonner will continue to oversee the catering division which will be called Boscov’s Catering by the DoubleTree.
“I’m excited to continue to serve our clients with the added capability of a large well trained and talented staff of servers and chefs” said Steve Bonner.
“Working in a magnificent and modern kitchen will enhance our ability to satisfy our catering clients throughout the region. I’m thrilled to be working with Craig Poole, and looking forward to my additional responsibilities of providing outstanding food and service within the hotel.”
David Reppert, head of Wishes Event Designs, joins Steve at the DoubleTree to continue his work creating exciting and unique environments and décor for special events both within the hotel and off site.

Both Bonner and Poole have said the transition has been well planned, and that every event currently booked through either company will be well served.
