Target stores in Berks County have recently added a new feature to improve customer convenience. The new Drive Up service allows customers to place an order online and pick it up right in front of the store.

Located near the front of the store in the parking lot, the new Drive Up kiosk features 2 pull through lanes. Rolling out the service throughout the county, Drive Up is now available at over 1,100 stores nation wide.

“With this expansion of Drive Up, we’re continuing the momentum from our coast-to-coast rollout last year to bring even more guests their fastest Target Run yet,” said Dawn Block, senior vice president, digital. “Guests love the ease and convenience of these parking lot pickups—in fact, it’s our top-rated fulfillment service.”

How does it work? Customers select Drive Up as the fulfillment option when placing an order through the Target app. The app will notify the customer when the order is ready. According to Target, it usually is ready within one hour.

In the app, select the “I’m on the Way” button when you’re begin driving to the store. Customers can then park in the designated Drive Up spot, and within two minutes a Target employee will bring the order out.

Target’s new Drive Up service is now available in Berks County at the Muhlenberg Township, Spring Township, and Exeter Township stores.
