The Muhlenberg Township Police Department (MTPD) is investigating an armed bank robbery that occurred at the Riverview Bank located at 4930 N. 5th St. Hwy. within Muhlenberg Township. The incident took place on 23 January 2019 at approx. 2:30 PM. The armed, male actor was described as follows: a white or light skinned Hispanic male, approx. 6’3” to 6’6” tall with a medium build. He was wearing a maroon colored hooded sweatshirt, with the hood up; gray sweatpants; black boots; black gloves; and a black cloth that covered the lower portion of his face. The actor display a black colored pistol and was left handed. He was carrying a red and black gym bag. He spoke without an accent and repeatedly asked where all of the employees were. The male fled the bank on foot, but later entered a black, 2016 to 2018, Dodge Charger RT Max. No registration information was available.
