Two juveniles injured, one critical, after Shooting on North 10th Street in Reading

9/16/21 – Authorities confirmed Thursday the teenager who was critically injured has died.

9/13/21 – Police say two juveniles were injured in a shooting near the intersection of North 10th Street and Spring Street in Reading Monday afternoon.

First responders were called to the area for the report of a shooting around 2:15pm. Upon arrival, Police found two juvenile males with gunshot wounds.

Both juveniles were transported to Reading Hospital for treatment of their injuries, one with non-life-threatening and the other in critical condition.

Police say three high school-aged males were walking in the 1000 block of Spring Street when an unknown person(s) fired at the males.

Police do no have a description of the shooter at this time, although they say the incident appears to be targeted toward the group that was shot at and not a random incident. No arrests have been made.
