The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a homicide in Shillington after a woman was found dead in her home Sunday morning.
The Shillington Police Department was dispatched on January 23, 2022 at 9:54am to 211 Brobst Street for a cardiac arrest. Upon arrival, they found a 47 year-old woman deceased inside the home.
The woman was pronounced dead by a Berks County Deputy Coroner later in the morning.
The Pennsylvania State Police was requested to handle the investigation.
The Troop L Major Case Team, Forensics Services unit, CARS unit and the Berks County District Attorney’s Office are currently investigating the death as a homicide.
Police say there is no danger to the public.
