The City of Reading is gearing up for a vibrant cultural celebration this Sunday as it hosts the 4th Annual Puerto Rican Day Parade and Festival, presented by the Berks County Latino Chamber of Commerce. With a promise of colorful displays, lively music, delectable cuisine, and a strong sense of unity, this event is set to showcase the rich heritage and contributions of the Puerto Rican community in Berks County.
The festivities will kick off with a dazzling parade starting at 11:00am, beginning at 11th and Penn Street. The parade promises to be a visual spectacle, featuring magnificent floats, traditional costumes, spirited dance troupes, and numerous community organizations, all coming together to celebrate the Puerto Rican culture that is deeply ingrained in the local community.
Following the parade, the party continues at 5th and Penn Street.
