The Berks County Armed Forces Advisory Committee celebrated the 75th anniversary of its Armed Forces Day Parade Saturday in West Reading.
The oldest Armed Forces Day Parade in the nation, the annual event recognized and honored today’s military and veterans. This years theme was “75 Years of Honoring our Armed Forces”

Before the event, a special fly over took place above the parade route featuring a 1943 North American SNJ-4 “Texan”, piloted by Jim Pusateri, flying from the MidAtlantic Air Museum. The SNJ was an advanced trainer used by the Navy during WWII.
