Annual Junior League Touch a Truck Set for April 20th

The Junior League of Reading Touch a Truck event is back again at the Reading Fightin’ Phils Stadium this Saturday, April 20th. The hands-on learning experience for provides children the chance to explore a variety of large trucks, heavy machinery, recreation vehicles, farm equipment, emergency vehicles, motorcycles and much more!

In partnership with the Reading Fightin Phils, The Junior League of Reading invites the community to come enjoy a fun community event where your child can climb on, scramble over, and touch many types of trucks and other vehicles. The event will host live music, food, games, and special Reading Fightin Phils activities.

Touch a truck is scheduled for Saturday, April 20, 11-3pm (Rain Date: May 5- same time) at First Energy Stadium, Home of the Reading Fightin Phils. The JLR is again hosting a “Sensory-Friendly-Hour” for children and individuals requiring a quieter environment from 9:30-10:30am.

Proceeds raised from Touch a Truck will support The Junior League of Reading and its community projects and services which expand the resources available to all children in order to enhance opportunities available for their growth, development and overall welfare.

Tickets can be purchased in advance online at jlreading.org/touch-a-truck, or the day of the event at the Junior League registration table. They are $6 for adults (ages 13 and over) and $3 for children (ages 3-12). Children age 2 and under are free!
