A water rescue team was called to the area of Moselem Spring Road (Route 662) and Lake Road, April 14, 2022, to assist Pennsylvania State Police with the recovery of a body in the creek.

Police on-scene say the body of a white male was recovered from the creek about a quarter mile downstream from the bridge. It is believed that the body washed down the creek following recent heavy rain.

The body was found around 3pm by a USDA Wildlife representative who was on a boat in the creek monitoring Goose populations in the area.

Investigators say there are no signs of foul play, and they are waiting for toxicology and an autopsy before confirming the identity. They added that the body has multiple tattoos, which they hope will lead to a positive identification.
