Celebrating 20th Anniversary, Wyomissing Bank Donates to IM ABLE Foundation

To celebrate its 20th anniversary, a year of challenge for many, Tompkins VIST Bank’s Wyomissing branch has donated $1,000 to the IM ABLE Foundation.

The IM ABLE Foundation is a Berks County based nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of people challenged with disabilities.

On hand to receive the gift was Chris Kaag, founder and CEO of the organization, and his son, Carter.

Susan Belfer, manager of the branch, said that the husband of one of her staff members volunteers at the organization and has shared the inspiring work it does.

“We chose IM ABLE Foundation for our anniversary donation because of their remarkable work in helping people overcome physical, cognitive and behavioral challenges,” Belfer said.

She added that the organization’s mission is fitting in such a challenging year for the community and the world.

“The goal of IM ABLE Foundation is to redefine what’s possible, and that’s a good message at this difficult time,” she said.
