The Greater Reading Chamber Alliance welcomes Brian Westbrook, former Philadelphia Eagles All-Pro running back and entrepreneur, as its Annual Dinner keynote speaker. Westbrook will present “From Gridiron to Greatness: A Playbook for Perseverance, Goal Setting and Teamwork,” which will detail his success both on and off the field.
Westbrook, whom the Eagles drafted in the third round, led the Birds to six playoff appearances and four NFC Championships. He was inducted into the Eagles Hall of Fame in 2015. Since his NFL retirement, he has focused on entrepreneurship and philanthropy. He founded the Brian Westbrook Foundation, which serves underprivileged youth and teaches them financial knowledge and leadership skills.
The Annual Dinner will honor and celebrate the remarkable businesses of Greater Reading through its Business Excellence Awards in Category 1 and Category 2 from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22, at Santander Arena.
