Greater Reading Chamber Alliance has moved one step closer to finding its next president as the Board of Directors has approved the retention of Diversified Search, to lead the organizations regional search for new leadership.
GRCA is Berks County’s primary business resource for facilitating new and existing business expansion, project funding, redevelopment, business-to-business promotion, advocacy, and workforce development.
The selection of Diversified Search, headquartered in Philadelphia, was based on a recommendation by the Search Committee designated by the Board to oversee the search process. Jeffrey R. Rush, President of Commercial Markets, Fulton Bank, is Chair of the Search Committee, which includes seven other business and executive leaders in Berks County. The Committee convened in early November and expects the search process to last several months.
“We’re thrilled to have found a partner in Diversified Search that will ensure that our next President exhibits the passion for growing business and community in the greater Reading area,” Rush said. “We are committed to finding the perfect executive to lead this dynamic and vital organization.”
With 11 offices nationwide, Diversified Search is the largest woman-founded retained executive search firm in the U.S., and a recognized leader in the areas of diversity and inclusion. It currently ranks number seven in the 2019 Forbes list of the top 200 executive search firms in the country. Final selection of the President will be made by the GRCA Board of Directors.
