Visions branch in downtown Reading is open for business

Visions Federal Credit Union’s new branch is open for business at 35 North 6th Street in downtown Reading, PA.

The Visions branch is on the ground floor of a registered historic building, formerly Berks County Trust Company, which is being restored by Shuman Development Group to include apartments, a food court, offices, and retail space.

“It’s a convenient spot for those who live, work, or study downtown and for anyone supporting the local businesses,” says Visions’ Branch Manager Lindsay Kennedy. “By being so accessible, convenient, and having a bilingual staff, we can serve the financial needs of more people in this community.”

The branch features two private office spaces to support account transactions, a walk-up ATM, membership applications, loan services, and free, confidential financial counseling. Members will be able to speak with account representatives in English or Spanish. Its location makes it a convenient stop for students, and those who are working, shopping, dining, or visiting downtown Reading.

Visions invites the community to visit the new branch and learn more about their financial services and membership benefits. General hours of operation are Monday through Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm, and the ATM will be available 24/7.
