CASA Berks now Accepting Nominations for Champions for Children Award

CASA Berks County is now accepting nominations for the Champions for Children Award.

The award recognizes an individual, group or organization, teen and animal that has furthered the mission of CASA of Berks County by improving the lives of child victims of abuse and/or neglect in Berks County.

Nominations are due no later than March 12, 2021. CASA volunteers, though wonderful, are excluded from being a nominee. CASA is looking for those in the Berks Community who are everyday heroes in protecting and healing the lives of abused children.

Award recipients will be chosen from the pool of nominees by the Champions for Children Judges. The panel, representing a cross section of our community includes: Waldo Alvarado, Director of Equity & Diversity, Reading School District; English Bradley, Administrative Manager, BCTV; Michelle Dech, Executive Director at The LGBT Center of Greater Reading;
Kathy Felker, Board Chair, CASA Berks County; Annarose Ingarra-Milch, President, ROI Training & Consulting, LLC; Santo D. Marabella, Marabella Enterprises, LLC and Bernie Mixon, Communications Specialist, Penske.
