The City of Reading has launched the Reading 311 Mobile App, replacing the current Reading iRequest app, offering residents and businesses instant access to essential city information and streamlined communication channels.
The Reading 311 Mobile App is designed to empower residents with a convenient platform to request various city services, such as reporting missed trash pick-up, yard waste concerns, potholes, and much more. With just a few taps, residents can submit service requests directly from their devices, eliminating the need for traditional paperwork and lengthy visits to City Hall.
Moreover, the app provides users with the capability to track the status of their submitted requests in real-time. Timely notifications will also keep citizens informed about important updates, including weather related alerts, street sweeping changes, and modifications to trash/recycling schedules, ensuring they remain connected and informed about city matters.
Mayor Eddie Morán expressed his enthusiasm for the launch of the Reading 311 Mobile App, stating, “The Reading 311 app represents a significant milestone in our ongoing efforts to enhance citizen services and greater community engagement. We are providing our residents with an easy-to-use platform for connecting with their local government through the use of technology. This app demonstrates our dedication to transparency, responsiveness, and creativity in meeting the needs of our diverse community.”
With the Reading 311 Mobile App, residents can expect a smarter, more connected experience, bringing city services directly to their fingertips. The app is available for download on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
